SLUGGER WITCH

MCAD MFA Mid-Program Review: March 20th through April 3rd, 2026

Slugger Witch is a multi-sensory installation that features scent, video, sound, and objects as art materials. Over the course of the Mid-Program Review period, the installation’s flowers dried, oranges decayed, and labdanum distillation continued to macerate in its bottle. These same objects in the installation were also used in video, which is projected into the installation. Sound from the artist moving the objects plays alongside a song of the same title as the installation.

Slugger witch, you pull out your baseball bat
